Support Japanese language students from elementary to university levels as they compete for best skit, haiku, song and other categories. There will be cultural demonstrations as well. – Free

JAA General Membership meeting and potluck will beheld on Saturday, January 21st (5-7pm) at the Asian
Alaskan Cultural Center. This year, we will have a family potluck. Please bring your favorite dish! Also, please feel free to bring potential members as well. Membership sign-up and renewal will be available. We look forward to seeing you there!

We would like to announce our 2016 Rice Pounding Festival. Below are the details:

アラスカ日本人会皆さんへ2016の餅つき大会を紹介したいです。詳細は以下のとおりです。

When: Saturday, December 3rd. 3:00 to 6:00

12月3日(土曜日)の午後3時から6時

Where: Asian Alaskan Cultural Center (at Northwood Elementary)

How much: Free (but bring some spending money for delicious rice cakes, drinks, and the Japanese goods flea market)
